. . . but for the help and love of those who have treated me so well throughout my life, where would I be? When I forgot to thank them, they kept on giving. When I forgot to listen, they kept speaking. When I forgot to observe their ways, they kept on doing right. Thank you. How many times have you been in this position? Remember the sacrifices of those who love you and give the thanks to those who deserve it. Then, turn around and do a little sacrificial giving of your own to someone else — and expect them to do what you had done. They may not thank you, or realize the effort required for you to give so graciously, but they will someday. In that day, it’ll be worth it all. Give.
