I am beginning to think that God has a mission -- and I'm the subject.  I don't know if he wants to work on me or through me, or maybe both, but I'm preparing for it.  I'm going through and revising my 'campaign' for the outreach trip to reflect updated prices and timelines for the trip.  I beleive God is putting together the puzzle pieces to allow me to go to Papua New Guinea in late July or early August to work with Stan and Tresa Rowe.  They are planning a revival during that time and have many needs that I could be instrumental in helping them with.  Videos, computers, website and more.  Sounds like a job for me.

Pray for wisdom and understanding.  Wanted:  Surprises from God.

Ah, what joy it could be to simply jump out my current life and just do something adventurous or extravagant.  However, the joy of venturing into the unknown is saddled and tied down to the responsibility to pay bills ahead and have extra cash on hand to pay for the trip and ensure a safe return home.

I've received an invitation to visit Papua New Guinea when I told the world about my intention to take a trip.  And by telling the world I mean all 5 of the people who have told me they read what I write...  That said, all ideas and comments are appreciated.  Just find a way to get them to me and please be constructive.

I'm working on a new project. { and you may have some input that could help }

I'd like to get your input on an outreach project of mine I'd like to participate in. I'm considering an overseas outreach trip for one or two weeks to do some kind of constructive work to help others. Teaching computers, English, music, working to build a library or help a Christian missionary have all crossed my mind as possibilities...go ahead and use the comment section below this blog entry and send me your input, or email me directly at outreach@kennethbaucum.org.    Naturally, I'm looking for funding to help me go on a trip such as this as well, so if you know of any treasure maps or money trees I can find and use, let me know.
