They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

Time
Take time to do the little things. Buy flowers, send a card, smile, tell a great joke, share something you learned. These things will be remembered over the long haul and will help you build great relationships with people who could do the same to others, making this small world a better place to live.
Talent
Share your skills. For pay or for free, no matter, just share. The world works better when everyone shares part of the load of daily living. Be “that guy” who doesn’t mind helping out and will sacrifice a little extra effort for the good of the team.
Treasure
Yeah, your money. Keep reading, I am not done yet. There are a lot of things that can be done for little or no monetary input, but eventually, everything costs money. So, give a little, every penny counts. If you do a good job of picking places that really need the money and whom are doing a good job in the world, you’ll find that they usually turn out to be a 501c3, then you can get a little back yourself at tax season. Just don’t forget why your giving the money…(hint: you’re helping people)
All in all, it doesn’t really matter what you give — time, talent or treasure — just give a little.
