Happy as a lark

I’m so blessed to be able to go to work each day and do the things that I love.

In a world where 50-60% of workers are unengaged at work, and 75% are looking for new jobs, I can say with confidence that I love mine.

God has been so good to me — he made me wait for a while — but he finally saw me through the trials and brought me to this place that I have longed for. The important thing for me is to focus on the journey, and not the destination. Perhaps that’s been the trouble to date, is having the wrong focus.

Now that I’m here, of courses there are goals for what’s next — but I’m content where I am. Choosing contentment has been a huge benefit to my employment. There have been many changes this year, some of them easier to bear than others – but many changes. Gratefully, I can choose happiness. And I have.
