You were never created to live depressed, defeated, guilty, condemned, ashamed or unworthy. You were created to be victorious. -Joel Olsteen

I love building things that matter.  I don’t always get to do that.  Sometimes, I have to wait for the right time, the right place, or the right people to build with. I’ve been burdened with problems and trials that I thought I could not bear. I bore them anyway. I’ve been unable to concentrate on urgent matters, blinded by the important ones. I  had to focus anyway. I’ve scraped the bottom of my coin jar, my wallet and my checkbook wondering when things would turn around. I saved money and paid bills anyway.

There are a lot of things in life that can get us down – reject them. Whether you choose to pray, meditate, scream, cry, sing or write a book – however you express your self and free your mind – do that thing which will set you free. In the face of opposition – fight anyway. Fight for you, for your dreams and for what’s important to your way of life.

When you have a dream, and other people can’t see it – share it anyway. When change is required, but people push back – change anyway. Do the things that are good and right – use your might to light the night – push through your fears and tears and fight. Fight for what matters. Protect what matters. Do what matters.

If you want to deliver the right ideas at the right moment, you must begin the process far upstream from when you need that idea. -Todd Henry

Start now to build your dream. Start now to change your life. Start now to do what you believe in. Start now to change how you react to problems. Just start something. You won’t see any change if you don’t start making that change.

For me, when I’m down, or when I am burdened with a heavy thought – I easily become paralyzed with the emotion and constant pressure of those thoughts on my mind. I find that for some subjects, it easiest to write about them. For others, I find relief by playing piano and making music. Eventually, all of these matters are brought to the feet of the cross. There is no need for me to bear these burdens alone.

We are promised in Psalm 55:22, “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” He carries our burdens everyday (Psalm 68:19).

Stop focusing so much on the problems and focus on God. Let God help you fuel your fire. Let Him replenish your fuel.

You were created to be victorious. Live like it.
